What our app does and why it needs your information
The Eveline App uses a discreet clip-on attachment for your phone to hold test strips in front of the camera, where the Eveline App automatically measures the hormone concentration and displays the test result on the screen of phone. The Eveline App tracks the previous results and your record to discover the personal biological rhythm, giving a heads-up of upcoming fertile days on the Fertility Calendar. The Eveline App also reminds you of upcoming tests and fertile days by sending notifications.
In order to provide those services, it needs certain information from you, and without that information our app wouldn’t work. For example, if we didn’t know the data of your menstrual cycle, we wouldn’t be able to send you notifications of upcoming tests and fertile days.
What information we collect
Personal information you provide voluntarily
When you use our app, we ask you to provide some personal information voluntarily, such as
Your e-mail address
Your age (year of birth)
and the following Health Data:
Height & weight (BMI)
How long you have been trying to conceive
Average period length
Average cycle length (the longest and the shortest cycle length)
Daily calendar – today is period day or not
Daily calendar – the menstrual flow status
Daily calendar – further information (intercourse Y/N; basal body temperature (BBT); mood; other notes).
We use the Health Data only for the following purposes:
to build your user profile;
to provide you with the following Eveline App functions: to predict next period and to display results and smart results; and
to make notifications to you (reminding you of upcoming tests and fertile days).
We use the information which is not Health Data for the same purposes as described above for the Health Data and also for the following purposes:
to register you with our service and maintain your account;
to send you service-related communications; and
to contact you with occasional marketing communications, in accordance with your marketing preferences.
Personal information we collect automatically through your use of our app
In addition to the personal information you provide voluntarily, we also collect certain other personal information automatically when you use our app. This includes LH test results (test time, test result (peak/high/low), error images, user interaction, etc. We use this information for analytical purposes to understand how our users interact with our services, and to personalize your experience of our app.
Other information we collect
Aside from personal information, we also collect certain information about your mobile device. This includes your device’s Language & Region, OS version, app version, device model name, etc. We may only be able to collect some of this information if your device settings allow it, so you should always review your app settings under your device’s settings menu to select what information you are happy for apps like ours to access or not to access.
Who else sees your information
In addition, we may also disclose your information to law enforcement, competent government authorities and other third parties where we believe are required to do so by applicable law or regulation (including a court order), or where we believe disclosure is necessary to exercise, establish or defend legal rights or to protect the vital interests of any person.
How we keep your information secure
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to keep the information we collect about you secure at all times
Data security is an evolving risk, and so we regularly monitor the threats to data and adjust our security measures as appropriate to adapt to these. However, you should understand that no organization or its systems can ever be guaranteed 100% secure all the time, and so should only share online or through mobile apps personal information which you are comfortable sharing acknowledging this risk.
Where your information gets sent
Don’t worry though – even if these countries do not have data protection laws that are equivalent to the country in which you reside, your personal information will continue to be protected in accordance with this policy.
Our use of tracking technologies
Like other app providers, we also track our users’ use of our app. We do this for our analytics purposes so that we can understand how users interact with our app in order to help refine our app. If you wish to refuse all tracking for these purposes, or to reset your tracking history, please refuse tracking or reset your device identifiers (which will reset any prior tracking history) through the settings menus on your device.

Furthermore, you can opt-out of receiving our marketing communications at any time, even if you previously indicated that you wanted to receive these. Please note that even if you opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us, you will continue to receive messages related to your account and the provision of our service – such as billing confirmations and general service updates.
We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
